Rhodia Silica Systems has developed a complete range of precipitated silicas (Tixosil® and Tixolex®) for use in the following applications:

Micropearl precipitated silica, a Rhodia proprietary product, was developed by combining a micropearl-forming process with Rhodia’s precipitation process. The resulting unique spherical agglomerate has opened up new opportunities for the Animal Feed Additives market to utilize a non-dusting, highly flowable carrier for pre-mixes.
The Silcea sites at Collonges-au-Mont-d’Or (France) and Livorno (Italy) successfully obtained the FAMI QS certification, which is a European reference system specifying the management methods to be applied to guarantee food safety throughout the production chain. Each certified site must then be capable of ensuring the traceability of its products.
The FAMIQS will be integrated to the current quality management systm ISO 9001 V00, ISO 14001 and ISO/TS16949 already obtained by Rhodia Silica Systems sites. |
